Brunberg’s liquorice took steps towards new growth
The Brunberg liquorice product family was expanded with filled liquorice and at the same time we renewed the packaging design of the entire product line.
The oven-fresh filled liquorice has a thick, genuine liquorice shell and three charming filling flavours: fresh orange, mildly spicy raspberry-chili and sweet chocolate. New wilder packaging design will definitely be noticed on the liquorice shelf: these bags are hard to resist.
The new wilder design of the classic liquorice
Since 1932, the scent of fresh liquorice has wafted through the alleys of Porvoo. The same scent still enchants passers-by and visitors of the factory shop.
Brunberg Liquorice has long been one of the most popular sweets in the Brunberg factory shop. The genuine, traditional black liquorice has a delicious flavour and a soft, smooth texture.
The liquorice family also includes Oat Liquorice, which has a richer texture than the traditional liquorice. The fresh and rich Oatmeal Liquorice is made with sun-ripened oats.
New charming filled liquorice will have liquorice fans giggling with delight
With the renewal of the liquorice production line, we developed filled liquorice to accompany the classic liquorice, to the delight of all liquorice fans.
Brunberg’s oven-fresh filled liquorice has a thick, genuine liquorice crust and three charming flavours: fresh orange, mildly spicy raspberry-chili and sweet chocolate. The combination of these flavours and the soft, juicy liquorice is fantastic.
When planning the packaging for the filled liquorice, we decided to renew the design of all liquorice products at the same time. The new packaging design is colourful and modern with a playful jungle pattern.
Brunberg’s liquorice products in stores
The entire liquorice range is sold in Brunberg’s stores in Porvoo and in Brunberg’s online store. During summer 2023, the filled liquorice will be distributed to grocery stores around Finland. The traditional black liquorice and oat liquorice will continue to be available in many stores.
All liquorice is packaged in suitably sized 200 gram bags. Brunberg’s traditional liquorice will continue to be available in 400 gram bags. In addition, all liquorice flavours, including Salmiac Liquorice and Tar Salmiac Liquorice, are available in 500 gram bags in Brunberg’s stores and online.
All liquorice products are lactose free, milk free and soy free. The traditional liquorice and oat liquorice are also vegan.

The traditional, tasty black liquorice is also available i 400 gram bags. Lactose free, milk free, soy free and vegan.
Oat Liquorice 200 g
Fresh and rich Brunberg liquorice made with sun ripe oatmeal. Lactose free, milk free, soy free and vegan.
