Brunberg is launching the Raspberry Kiss as a seasonal product in August 2024. The chocolate-covered foam sweets, which were added to the product range in 1951, have delighted consumers year after year by offering a delicious taste experience. The kisses are given as gifts, taken as souvenirs and served both at the coffee table and at various events. The new fresh flavour is presented in a new kiss package, which was launched in spring 2024.
The raspberry kiss is a delightful addition to Brunberg’s range of sweets. The seasonal raspberry flavour brings summer on the tongue and makes the taste buds tingle with lovely freshness. Consumers have often asked for a raspberry-flavoured kiss and Brunberg has responded by creating the perfect combination of raspberry and chocolate.
The raspberry kiss offers a charming combination of the sweet flavour of chocolate and the delicate acidity of raspberries. Under the thin, crispy chocolate coating there is a fluffy raspberry foam and, on the bottom, a tasty waffle.
You can join the flavour journey in advance in Brunberg’s stores in Porvoo and in Brunberg’s online store, where the kisses are already available. The raspberry kisses will be available in grocery stores in Finland from week 37.
Brunberg’s kisses were added to the product range in 1951, when the expertise to make them was imported from Denmark. A kiss master from Denmark was also invited to the factory in Porvoo to start production. At first, the kisses were partly handmade, but as the production process developed, manufacturing became fully automated.
Since production began more than 70 years ago, Brunberg’s Kisses have been one of the company’s best-selling products, with approximately 15-18 million Kisses consumed in Finland each year, showing their continued popularity and strong position among Finnish confectionery products.
The standard flavours are vanilla, strawberry and mocca, but there are also seasonal flavours produced all year round, bringing variety and surprises to the sweet shelves.
